Join the Columbus Historical Society and speaker Jan Schiffer for a talk about the extraordinary life of Evangeline Reams and her impact on the many unprotected women and girls she reached during her years of ministry in Columbus. Her role in the life of the Friends Rescue Home, and the homes evolution over the years. As her obituary states, “to review the life of Evangeline Reams is practically to tell the story of the Friends Rescue Home of Columbus, Ohio.” Their stories must be told in unison. Over 4,000 babies were born here during the 50 years the FRH occupied this residence.

Parking is available on the property.

This event is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
